Last week i told a guy friend of mine at work that it would be better that we didn't talk so i can get over my crush on him since he's in a long distance relationship with another girl, as a matter of fact, she's in the Phillipines and he's here in the US. Before this happened, we joked around about hooking up, but then i felt bad and hurt about us joking about it. I told him that i really wanted to do it since i like him, but he has a gf and that it wouldn't be wise if we did it. Anyway, i got angry with him since he didn't respond back to me after I texted him Happy New Year's and I ended up sending him another text calling him a "dog" and that i didn't want to have anything to do with him, then later i apologized via text. Then the next day , I wrote him a letter telling him how i felt hurt about us joking around, and the fact we just treat each other as professionals. He's ignoring me, no hello, excuse me, thank you, nada.

Probably because you abruptly confronted him about something he was enjoying, you were rude, and you told him "it would be better that you two didn't talk". So you got your wish, now he isn't talk to you! Expect him to not have anything to do with you.

He's ignoring you because you are a head case. First you joke around about hooking up, then tell him you don't want to talk anymore about it, then you text him (which is alot like talking to a guy), then you get mad at him for not going against your wishes and talking to you anyway, then you write him a letter, which goes against the not talking thing you started. Geeze. I don't blame the guy. At first you were this fun girl he joked around with, now you are some super serious mega mind jerking chick. Good riddance.

He doesn't want anything to do with you. So if you keep texting and writing letters and bugging him, you will just get a reputation of a stalker, which you don't need, it's your work place.
Make sure you behave from now on, like he does not exist, as in, made out of thin air. You don't need to have your heart broken, your dignity insulted and then loose your job over some dude!
You will find someone else, go out with friends and date someone you do not work with.

Ok if you wanted to keep him as a friend then you should just ya know let him make his own mistake of not dating you and when you hook up with some one and he relizes that he likes you it will be too late just tell him i am truely sorry and everything and let him cool off for a while

maybe he wants you to get over him and does not want to confuse you. So he is trying to make things better for you.

F*** him, he's nobody to you - why do you even care about him? He's a coworker, not a potential life partner!
