well meeting my ex next week to talk. how should i act? i still care for him dearly even when he really hurt me, he broke up with me because he said he didn't feel the same anymore. i know i can't force him to like me but is their anyway i can make him feel a little regret as he seems all fine about the break up. He left me heartbroken and didn't even break up with me in person but on msn! he's a coward but i still have feelings for him

Act as if nothing ever happened. Act as if you have never had feelings for him at all. Don't bring up anything ancient about you two. Keep the conversation in topic, no diversions.

Look, why are you even meeting up with him again? This not going to change his mind, so forget it. If he took breaking up with you so lightly that he couldn't even do it in person, he's just not worth your time and you shouldn't let him control you like this thinking you're going to make him feel pangs of regret for his actions. Buried way way back in your mind is a secret notion that is driving you to hook up with this wanna-be player again with the hope of enticing or persuading him that he's missing out on something really good. Forget it.
I'm hoping that you will respect yourself more than this and not even consider meeting up with him again. Just tell him something else more important has come up and you can't see him.

it's very important for you to be the best you can be. you can not rely on another human being for emotional peace. if you still have feelings for him just enjoy the time you do have with him. Peace out !
