Or atleast get you to think about and consider.

I wasn't trying to convert anyone. I was just wondering about getting them to consider it. It's called investigation and free-thinking, learning, the search for knowledge and truth etc. But I know that religion is like the tabacco companies and they get them young and discourage this kind of thing. I would like to see all religions taught in schools not just the one that they just happened to be born into and indoctrinated as children in. In the video below Dan Dennett talks about reverse engineering religions.

Also you do not need God to be good or have purpose in life. What you said is a popular misconception. I am one of the most helpful people around and I do lots for charity. I do good things because they are good, not because I'm trying to get into heaven by impressing a higher being. That is a very selfish reason to do them. I would say that it comes from a more higher nobility than just doing good because you are scared of the all seeing camera in the sky.

It's impossible, believe me I've tried. I've shown them hundreds of inconsistencies and contradictions in the bible. I've shown them their God is a murderous, jealous, sexist, racist. I've shown them Jesus was only here for the Jews, a thief and a liar. I've told them there is no way a worldwide flood ever took place. And still not one of them has ever been like "oh maybe you're right." They're faith is very strong, but unfortunately is directed in the wrong way. If only they had the same faith for humanity, and this world they could all band together and stop hunger, global warming, and war. There's 2 billion Christians, imagine what 2 billion united people could do, instead of debating whether or not abortions are bad, and gays are sinful they could make this Earth a great place of everybody. But no instead they want to worship an over exaggerated rabbi and his magic tricks, and waste this life in hopes that their eternity will be pleasant.

[10:37] This Qur'an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah; on the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the Book - wherein there is no doubt - from the Lord of the worlds.

[10:38] Or do they say, "He forged it"? say: "Bring then a Sura like unto it, and call (to your aid) anyone you can besides Allah, if it be ye speak the truth!"

God has already set you the challenge! Prove it!

There is nothing you can do to convince me there is no God, Creator, Higher power.
I love the bible. It is a very handy self help book.
To assume I have never though about alternate possibilities is a poor assumption, considering I was raised atheist, I was wiccan, I was agnostic, and I have studied numerous religions.
I believe in God, and I know Jesus was a great man of God.

Give it up. God's promise of His love is stronger than any argument you could fabricate!

Romans 8:38-39 I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

why do you want to convert others to atheism? do you have a problem with people having purpose and helping others? if i converted to atheism i would turn selfish because i am my own accountability. as a christian the entire point of my life is to serve others. to give unto anyone who asks to live at peace with everyone. why do you wish to destroy this? God said the foolishness of God is better than the wisdom of man. God uses the fools to confound the wise. nothing you do or say will change what i believe.

Why are people (on both sides of the debate) so interested in making the other think as they do? You belive in Jesus? Great! You believe in Allah? Go for it! Buddah? Okay. How 'bout this ... Mind your own friggin' business and live your live the best you can. I'm sure, by definition, it's not by inciting people to change thier beliefs. Grow up.

There isnt anything you can do or show me to make me believe there is no God. The way God has worked in my life has convinced me He is there. I doubt God sometimes, but its short lived, because there's just some things I can't overlook.

there is most likely nothing that you can do because the holy book is inspired by the spirit and the spirit is everlasting eternal presence that is nothing of this world...you can't show anyone physically...unless you can take the holy spirit out of the world...which you can't...when a person goes through the outpouring of the holy spirit, it is the first time that they realize that there is something eternal and true...it's God.

There is nothing you could do.
One can either believe God's Truth
or Satan's Lie that there is no God; that you can be your own god.
I have chosen God's Truth.
Evidently, you have chosen Satan's Lie.
bad choice.

I know the books are flawed,

but there is nothing you could do to convince me that there is no God. You can not deny what your youself have experienced.
