Zabasearch turned up 73 Boxa entries. Perhaps one is an ancestor of Lula.
Family Search has an entry for Lula too. She is deceased.

Is it the same Lula Boxa who married Hollis Gewecke? If so, I found a write up of their marriage in the Lincoln, Nebraska Evening state Journal. From the article, I can tell you that she had a sister named Helen. If you think that this is her, let me know and I'll E-mail you the article. Blessings.

I do believe she could be from Kansas, somewhere around Republic. I have not seen that name mentioned in a lot of years. Where did you find that book. I am a part time genealogist and have come across the name in my researches.

Goggle didn't turn up anything, probably not a famous person. Where did you get it? Could it be someone from your family? If its a family thing I'd ask the older members of your family if they know anything about her.
