I'm looking forward to the rash of "I KNOW there is a god!" answers...
Because those who say that don't even KNOW what the word KNOW means. :)
Here's a clue: none of you KNOW there is a god. You may believe it with all your heart, but you don't KNOW. And it's ridiculously wrong statements like that which make people snicker at your lack of intelligence and understanding.
Be honest and say you BELIEVE. Don't be dishonest and say you KNOW -- because you don't. It might sound more fervent, you might think it makes you seem more committed to your faith...but it doesn't, it just makes you look like you don't understand the meaning of words.

I would never suggest any one be a believer because I can't imagine why any one doesn't.Why any one would want to be in this world with out the favor of God and the Love and guidence of the Holy Spirit.I don't understand how people so great a creation could believe that they are from apes or any thing other than a great Creator,I really don't get that. The human being is so great a creation, the fetus of a child, magnifcent. The beauty and wonder of the weather, not an accident how the earth balances itself all for the benifit of man.Why wouldn't people think that we are from a God whose likeness and image we are made to imulate? It's the religions of the world that cause so much doubt in peoples minds, but in your heart you have to know deep inside that God exists and His love for His creation is great, why else would the Devil be so jealous?lol

If you're asking if I can prove to you scientifically that there is a God, no, I can't. However, I do know there's a God because I can see His hand in His creation.
Faith is not something that can be empirically measured or quantified--you either have it or you don't. I could write reams in support of my position, but it all, in the last analysis, boils down to the adage of, "If you believe, no explanation is necessary, and if you don't believe, no explanation will satisfy."
So I suppose that you and I will just have to agree to disagree on this point.

The whole reason we are called Christians is because we believe in God and have accepted Jesus into our lives. I know there is a God because I have faith there is a God. Simple as that!

Yes, I believe in God. I believe because I have come to know His love. It's not a book I read, or a doctrine I was taught or any scientific this or that. It... is... His... love.

Yes I believe in God by knowledge, rationalization and personal experience.
One hint, read the miracle of Fatima and think intelligently about all the details in that event.
There is no way you can say it was not a miracle.

I have experienced a prime identity so dazzling and beyond description, that the label 'God' simply does not even come close.

Nobody really knows although we see evidence all around us. I read a book called "The Signature of God" by Grant Jeffrey and in it is scientific, historical, geographical and archaeological proof that the bible is 100% accurate as well as incredible math codes in the bible. After reading this, I didn't have much choice in my opinion but to beleive. Hope you find your answers. Peace :-)
