Brothers
The City of Palestine is truly Israels. The so called Palestinians are actually Syrian refuges that were never let back into Syria by Syria. So the true Palestinians of Palestine would be Jewish. So that means Brothers.

Neither, they are two different names for essentially the same geographic region. Israel is a state, it is also a nation. The nation of Israel, resides in the land of Israel and is made up of members of the tribe of Judah (Jews). Judah, being a descendant of Abraham, who also impregnated Hagar a handmaiden in order to attempt to fulfill G-d's promise of a child when He was in his ninety's. Of this sexual union was born Ishmael who is the father of the Arab nation who claim Palestine as their home. To understand further the whole gamut of the middle east conflict, read Leon Uris' book "The Haj".

There is no such country as Palestine. Israel is the only country there. Israel was Palestine before it became a State in 1948, from the British.

Arabs and Jews both decend from Abraham.
Abraham had 2 sons, Issac (jew) and Ismail (muslim)
I think that makes them distant cousins at this point.
