YOUR CREATOR

Perhaps most Christians would agree to the following:

He existed since forever, will exist forever.
There is no limit to his power - he is the ultimate power
He is the ultimate manifestation of love, of good.
He caused everything to be.

Then perhaps he might be described as the power that drives the universe, the thing that caused it to start. The collective consiousness of us all - the beauty of all that surrounds us. Surely love may be described as the feeling of absolute harmony with oneself, those around you and everything around you - wishing the best for them, even if at a cost to yourelf? If so, He must then be the harmony in everything, the underlying order of everything.

Surely then he is in everything, IS everything, and yet even more than everything.

No matter how powerful our mind actually is, compared to the infinite vastness that is out there, our minds are infinitely small, hence not capable of comprehending the full extend of ANY truth. Thus we can not comprehend the true nature of God. We can only long to be closer to that, whatever it may be. In that quest to be closer, to become one with that "entity" (for the lack of a better word), we all form our own model to try to understand it, and in that model do we then strive to become one with God. One as in with Him, very close to Him, or whatever.

To truly be aware of that greatness and ultimate love (perhaps thats possible without the constraints of our own minds), and not being close to it, not being able to have a part in it, might be considered hell......the ultimate longing for something which you then know you can never have.

Just an attempt to argue the point from outside a religious paradigm - I personally am a Christian

Gods were invented by conmen to control gullible people and take money for doing nothing real. Many people are devoted to conmen who tell them lies that seem pleasant, e.g. living forever. I always say that the truth is always preferable, regardless of how grim it may seem. One must face it in time, so why not now, before one becomes too attached to priests' silly lies?
