I saw a puppy on the side of the road today and thought long and hard about picking him up because he was abandoned for sure given the remote area. I did not pick him up but he has been on my mind all morning. It is really cold out and will be snowing soon. Could you pray for the puppy? I leave work at 1145 today and if I see him I am going to pick him up and give him a good home.

I know this is beyond silly - - but I just can't get the little fella out of my mind, he looked so lost!

Besides doesn't God say help all cretes great and small?

How is this prayer request stupid? Because it's for a puppy and not some corrupted human? Animals have always treated me better than humans. Hell yeah I'll pray for the puppy! And I think you have a good heart for thinking about him so much.

That's not a stupid prayer request.
Did you know that you can probably call your local police or fire department and they will gladly send someone right there to check on him. They don't want anything to happen to puppies either.

Idiots that abandon animals like that should be horsewhipped and left out in the cold themselves.

The love that you show is of the character of our Creator.
Your prayer is commendable . We all should show compassion for all of His creation.I shall pray with you.He said anything.I will follow procedure.
Please let us know.
May He bless you for your kindness

Why not?
You know what?
I have 2 dogs and sometime they are the better go-betweens...
They help you through and you are forced to care for them when you wouldn't for yourself!
Their thankfulness is not mesured...
I send him an angel, for sure...

All prayer requests are "stupid" in that prayer really doesn't accomplish anything.

You'd be better off DOING something.
