The main reason is the people acted on (what they believed) was the behalf of Islam.
We all know that not all Muslims are terrorists, but the overwhelming majority of terrorists are Muslims.

Well did you know that it is after 9/11 that 20000 Americans alone turn to Islam each year. The reason that after 9/11 people found about Islam and had an anger against it, but when they started reading it this is the statics that has come out.Just wonder how many people would be converting all around the world.

People feel the need to blame someone, and since these extremists committed these acts in the name of Islam, it was easy to generalize and say all Muslims are bad. It is convenience, ignorance and fear. People who know true Muslims and the real Islam do not hate Muslims at all.

It's wrong to hate anyone, regardless of their religious preference. There is a militant stream of Islam that many people find threatening. If it were possible for the people of America and Israel to live in peace with all our muslim brothers and sisters, the world would be a much happier place.

People should not blame the Muslims...they should blame the EXTREMIST Muslims. These are the people who are the ones attacking Americans and others. They are the true terrorists. They twist their religion to fit their needs, and use Allah as an excuse to kill. Muslims who practice their faith the right way know this is wrong, and more and more of them are speaking out against it. I have the utmost respect for the Muslims that are speaking out against other muslims who will twist their faith to suit their egotistical needs.

It's sad but true. For every action, there is a reaction...
It's now up to the Muslims themselves to educate their fellow brothers and sisters that they should not taint the name of God to kill.

Considering that they were all Muslims and shouting "allahu akbar" as they crashed, what do you expect?
After the Oklahoma City bombing, what happened to the support for all the flipping militia groups. Just about dried up.
If you want us to respect Islam, don't you think it's high time Islamists spoke up against terrorism and started looking for PEACEFUL solutions in the Middle East?
Face it, Israel is here to stay. Absolutely nothing you do is going to change that.
