They'll never go away. Seriously. I owned a restaurant for 10 years, and I'd fall into bed when I'd get home and have dreams about kitchen disasters. Like forgetting to roast something, giant shrimp chasing me, sauces turning into something else, you name it.

I've been retired for 3 years now, and I just had a dream last week that I was back at my restaurant but the only clothes I had to wear was a pair of shorts and an old raggy shirt and had to serve people.

Trust me, it never ends. :)

Dreams are the way your subconcious mind processes all your experiences during the day.

You are being bombarded all day long with new ideas, techniques and having dozens of unique experiences. Your mind is trying to resolve all of this information.

Don't be concerned. In fact, dreams can give you a good chuckle when you wake up, seeing how your subconcious is trying to absorb the info.

If you are having a recurring dream or image, something isn't getting resolved during the day. Try and see the connection to your concious life and find out what is still bothering you. Deal with it in real life, and the "bad" dream should go away.

If the dreams persist, and you can't resolve your issues, seek a professional to help you sort it out and come to grips with the conflict.

Your probably eating too late at night. Try not eating anything for at least 2 or 3 hours before you close you eyes.
