My Dad stood up and put on a really good husky New York "Mafioso" voice and croaked "I wanna thank you all for bein' here, on the day of my dorder's wedding."
It got a great laugh from everyone and I loved it.

At my engagement party, my dad went to hug my fiancee, then at the last second, dropped to his knees, grabbed my fiance's hand, and yelled out "Thank you for taking her! Thank you so much!! Thank you!! Thank you!"
He kept doing it until everyone in the room had the opportunity to take a picture of him like that, with my shocked face in the background.

One of my friend's dad's said something about them getting a divorce. Unfortunately, he was only half joking. They didn't want him to marry her. This may have not been the best, but it was definitely the most shocking.

its an actual quote I think by President Roosevelt, but once I heard a father say
"And remember, a true politician can tell you to go to hell in a way that makes you look forward to going there"
I thought that was hysterical
