You should look into what causes your depression.

I am sure is a huge problem or many problems that are at the root of your depression.Maybe you need help from a psychologist to solve those problems.Maybe from from a medical doctor.

All I can tell you are two things :
a) That there are to types of problems, the ones that will be solved ( don't worry about those) and the ones that will not ( don't worry about those either, because they are outside anything you can do)

b) That the probability that you are alive is mathematically greater than winning the Jackpot three consecutive times, for which you should thank, non stop, the creator( if you believe in God) or your good fortune if you do not.

First let your doctor know the med's is not working. There is a medication that can help you. It could be the meds need to be Stronger then they are , or the doc has not found the right med for your condition. Tell your doc all your depression systems. And talking about your problems with someone you can trust always helps. And Like the other person said Prayer is always helpful. God Bless

Deary, I had this problem a few years ago. I was diagnosed with PTSD, Bipolar, and then depression. I took a bunch of medication for two years and nothing worked. In the end, I started to change things in my life. I took negative influeces out of it that I had once considered very important - something i couldnt live with out. After restructuring my life by getting the things that were keeping me down out of it, I didnt feel bad anymore. I have been depressed free and medication free for two and half years now and I feel great. Never had another episode of any kind. Look at life and try to recognize where the negativity if coming from. It may be that you don't have depression and you are just being pulled down by people/events that surround you. That may be the reason why medications don't work.. That was my reason..

Don't give up! Depression can be tricky sometimes, but there are many options for treatment. If you're not already, see a psychiatrist. They're better trained for treating depression than other doctors. They know more about the medications for depression and they can help you with psychotherapy as well. Sometimes, both meds and therapy are necessary for effective treatment of depression. Good luck.

sometimes medication doesn't just work alone. If you have been on it for that long and don't feel any improvement maybe there is an actual cause that needs to be addressed in therapy. I would suggest talking to a psychologist to find the root of your problem and maybe you can move forward from there. good luck :)

Talk to your health care provider, as it sounds like you need to change your medication to something else. I've been through that before and sometimes you just need to move to something else as medications will work for you for awhile and then they don't. Just call the doctor and everything will be fine.

Hang in there and Best of luck.

Medication isnt a long term solution. All I can say is the more you dwell on your thoughts the worse it can get. Therapists who want you to talk about how miserable you feel will only stress you out.

you MUST read this book called "lift depression fast" it sorted me out....

Seeing your doctor who prescribed you the medication and let him know that it's not working and that you need help figuring out a good plan to help with your depression. I would say get counseling also.
