He doesn't understand why I can't just accept the other woman he's been seeing for @ 6 months. I feel true love is the cure for commitmentphobia and his infidelity makes me feel inadequate. He also says he's talked to other women who understand that and men should be allowed to screw around - I told him he's naive and a fool if he really believes there's women out there who believe that. I need to see how everyone feels about this.

May be that's how "selfish" men are but a relationship goes both ways and if what he does bothers you he should respect that and stop seeing that other woman. It's wrong to ask you to be accepting while he's not honoring what you two have together.

I don't see why your still seeing someone who has been sleeping around on you for the last 6months if your being faithful.
This type of life is a lifestyle, couples both participate in out of relation meetings with same or opposite sex in the world and its okay. But it has to be mutual, which it doesn't sound like it is to me.
Lastly, men don't need to screw around to be happy, anymore than women do.

He's getting the best of both worlds at the moment, isn't he? He's screwing around and getting away with it! A lot of women would have walked away from this situation. It comes down to, are you prepared to tolerate this, despite your feelings of inadequacy? He's not likely to change, is he? If you really don't want to go on like this, it'll have to be you that changes, ie by dumping him. Not all men are like him, by the way.

You already know the answer to this. GET RID OF HIM. OR tell him you absolutely agree and that since he's open about his other girlfriend, tell him that you've decided to see this "other man" that has been after you and give it a whirl as well. Hey, what's good for the goose is good for the gander as well. It goes both ways. And trust me....you are going to have more options of getting laid than he ever will.

And you are still with him because.........? Dump his a**. There are plenty of men out there who will commit to you and you deserve to find one of them. He is playing you for a fool, and you need to realize that. I hope that he is protecting himself when running around with these other women. If not then that is just one more reason that you do NOT need to be with him!!!

he's young, older guy's over 26 eventually get tired and just want to relax, but youngsters have a high sex drive and more energy for looking around spitting game all day, older guy's eventually give up on that its drama

you are crazy to stay with him. sounds like your just a hookup to him. if it was a real relationship he wouldnt be seeing other women. not all men are cheaters.. move on until you find the right one
