I think online gaming effects loved ones more than it goes the gamer. My finace is ADDICTED to the highest degree. I'm surprised I can even get him up to go to work in the morning. I sleep alone because he stays up all night playing games. First it was Guild Wars and now it is World of WarCraft and after that I'm sure there are many more to he will take an interest in.
I feel like I'm single most of the time. He comes home showers and it's straight to his gaming. I get one word answers and no quality time. I don't mind games and I think it's good for entertainment, but guys don't let it take over your life. It's physcially, mentally and all over draining in the long run.

If your talking about gambling, it can be extremly addictive and can destroy your life. I joined G.A. and some of the stories I heard was unreal. Theft, embezlement by bankers, brokers, people that had lost their entire bank accounts and investments and in debt that impossible to ever over come. People going to prison for crimes to support their habit, lost ALL their friends and family. The people I am talking about are everyday people, educated and intelligent people that got out of control before they had any idea they had a problem. If you don't mind loosing your home, family, friends, car, and self respect then there is no danger at all.

Hmm, Its tuesday!! NO WOW... lol, Sort of, I mean I need my WoW fix, but its at night after my son goes to bed..Now the last few days, Ive been grinding to lvl 40.. But now that I got my mount..Im happy.. So I had to do a million dishes after I hit 40, so I havent had time to play with my new flaming mount.. hehe.. Life is back to normal :P

Not directly, but because my boyfriend spends about 90% of his free time on his stupid game, it effects me every day. It's a constant cause for fights. (I don't actually have anything against games, I even like some of them, but like everything else, moderation is the key. I am not OK with being ignored so he can spend time with his precious "clan".)

online gaming is just as addictive to the casino gaming - just with more inhouse comforts .... otherwise have the same affects on you and the ones who love you

YES, I hate Tuesdays as they close all WoW realms for maintenance. 8 Hrs without my WoW,sometimes longer cry sob, WoW= (wold of warcraft)....But I use Tuesdays to run my errands lol. Still it sucks :D
