It depends, try booking it online and see how much it is. Also you can call the cruise line directly and try to book it that way because they may have deals not online yet or at all. Then just take the time to go to a travel agency and see how much it is through them. Sometimes agents have "connections" and can get even better deals or discounts on things. It doesn't take long to find out, I will say though that I have done this with every cruise I've been on and I don't see a obvious value in picking one over the other. The prices are pretty much set until right before the cruising date, when they'll drop rates to fill up a ship (and give upgrades!). You should do what's easiest for you, unless there's a great deal of savings one way or the other. The only way to figure that out is to do the leg work, though. Have fun on your cruise!!

If you have cruised before it doesnt really matter as both of you can find the same information it just kind of depends but if you are a first time cruiser then I would highly recommend going on a cruise through a travel agent as they can tell you some vital information but as for the price you dont really have to pay any extra the compnay itself pays the agent a booking fee to give them their salary but its jsut a matter of if you want to or not.

I always find that booking through the particular cruise line itself is cheaper. Once you have taken one cruise with a line, they will usually offer you deals on any future cruises you want to take with them. You will have to research the different lines to see what exactly they offer, since they cater to different groups and ages of people. I have found that Carnival offers the cheapest, but usually has a pretty rowdy crowd.

The cheapest website that I have found was www.cruisebrothers.com. I suggest you call a travel agent, visit the website, then compare.

Actually, it varies on each case. However, I tend to find that online gives you the best deals.
