Vizio is a good choice, especially for those who are looking for a good value. Sure, it isn't Sony quality be any means, but for what you are getting, it's a really good buy. In the 2+ years that I've sold Vizio HDTVs, they have improved dramatically. Their first line of HDTVs had issues with fan noise and panel defects, but the last few generations of the product line have been absolutely stellar.

I haven't owned one, but from the research I have done, Vizio consistently gets very high marks on quality, so I would not be to worried. By the way, Vizio was previously part of Sony before breaking away, and we all know about Sony quality.

why did you purchase it if you dont know anything about the company? that doesnt seem to wise to me. that is an investment. you just invested in a tv and tv company that have been out for may be a year and are really cheap. that doesnt sound like a quality manufaturer to me. do you feel it was a safe investment? did you just squander your hard earned $899 or did you just buy it cause it was cheaper than the rest. if it was my $899 i would invest in alot better company than that. always remember you get what you pay for.
