why is there many people who dont respect their religion?!
and why do they joke about it!

Jokes are a good thing. Keeps us from getting too serious. Remove the stick from your bum and lighten up. The best pastors and priests tell jokes about Christianity, so what makes you better than them that you can say they aren't "true" believers?

1. Religion will only get a person so far; the rest depends on the individuals.
2. Since you are talking specifically; there (to my curerent knowledge) are 7 deviations to God's word. Perhaps those people have not 'passed the test' of those deviations.

Any real and true Christian is going to take their religion seriously. We all sin and no one is perfect, so when you see people joking about religion its either because religion makes them feel uncomfortable or they aren't a true christian in their mind or heart!

If I had to believe in a talking snake, people walking on water and rising from the dead I'd have trouble taking it seriously too.

religion is some ones personnal matter, i would say very personnal, so its not okay to ask why anyone didnt follow religion seriousally. we should only see what we believe and what we follow

Because it is a joke, and to them they only do it to gain social acceptance instead of self acceptance.
Try the Church of Satan, it's so real to life and not what people might think.
