We are urged by passages such as Romans 12:2 ("And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God") to remember that, once Born Again, we are new creatures. Once we are new men or women, we shouldn't have anything to do with the "old" man or woman who died when we were Born Again.
Ephesians 4 explains this further:
"20 But you have not so learned Christ, 21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness."
Peace.

there are two possible answers!
First it could represent the time when the poisons in the mind become so toxic that it has to be nuetralized.
I have a spirit being that frequently appears to me and my mind becomes invigorated against whatever poison is in my blood.
the other possibility is that it has reference to the same thing but it is the act of witchcraft changing from one season to another and one mind altering drug to another.
I have experienced both these scenarios more than once.
the mind stops being intoxicated for a week or two and Sleep deprivation become total unconscienceness. during that week however the mind seems to be refreshed and renewed and starts the vicious cycle all over again. this is also the best time to take a sleeping pill because it has the most effective results when you are not stoned out of your mind by NO choice of your own.

Heart and mind are one and the same.
Studying God's Word is how this is accomplished.
God’s Word is His Spirit the Spirit of truth or the Holy Spirit.
Not the printed text but God’s will, plan, thoughts, wisdom, knowledge, and His feelings the printed text conveys.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

From Romans Chapter 12: The Greek word for such renewal ("be ye transformed by the renewal of your mind") is "metanoia" - one simply allows God to do it. From the same root word we get "metamorphosis" How? In context....by not being conformed to the pattern of this world. And by studying Holy Scripture.

You don't.
The Holy Spirit does.
Romans 12:2
(2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Every week, most believers attend a community congregation where their personal delusions are affirmed by the mass delusions of others. Considering most were raised in this environment, it's similar to one long form of peer pressure.

God does it for you, and it is a gradual process for some and it is fast for others. You do it by allowing God to work in you and through you. God bless
