Jesus was a rebel he smashed up temples dis-obeyed the government to the extent they had to execute him. he attacked the rich was anti organised religion broke laws and met lepers and helped the poor. he was actively against all prejudice and publicly spoke out about it. so i ask all christians why do so few of you act like jesus. a lot of christians are amongnst the most prejudist and pro rich, pro establishment and pro war people in the world. so i ask them how exactly do you follow the teachings of christ.

What a good question...When I was involved in the Pentecostal church I had a job waitressing. One day when I was at work there was a man sitting at a table who came in everyday alone. My shift had finished and I had time to kill while my "Christan" mother finished up. I sat down with this man and talked with him. My mom and many other "Christan's" looked at me literally with open mouths. As this man is severely deformed. I found out from a boating accident he was in when he was 21. He had no friends. None! So I'm sure many people will try to say not all Christan's are like this (open mouths) and I say to them bull! Most of you will help out only each other and "pray" for everyone else. The man Jesus you all worship prayed for strength for himself to be able to help EVERYONE. Church it self is a load of crap and misleading people into getting farther away from common decency.

"Render unto Caesar" is actually what Christ said and what he meant was that we should be good citizens and do what is expected of us where we live. That is why he paid taxes to Caesar and did not rebel against the laws he was subject to. Jesus neither broke up nor smashed the Temple. What he did do is tip over the tables of the money changers in the temple and told them not to turn his Fathers house (GOD's temple) into a house of merchandise and a den of thieves. The Temple I go to doesn't buy or sell and there are no thieves there so no need to break things up there.

for one the reasons why none of us really act like jesus is because we are not him not all of us are pro rich or any of the other stuff you say and also we are allowed free will so if we want to be lazy people then why not be one also we help in our own personal ways by helping others say your grand parents or your parents and friends also no one is perfect i bet you don't always follow what your religion does also say if you followed the words of god could you great a world in 6 days no i don't think so everyone just works to there best abilities and the way we follow the teachings of christ is by trying to help in our different ways which jesus done he helped in his own special way

Christians got off course during the Dark Ages in Europe. They were told not to question the teachings of the Church and the Church spun Jesus message into one of pro-establishment than a more true rebellion one. When more people learn and read more instead repeating what others are telling them, the real story will come out. It takes courage to question things that are sacred.

I believe the vast majority of Christians are all blowing smoke and do nothing but blow smoke and hot air and frankly I dont mind because the vocal ones are usually trumpeting the praises of a right wing republican, tell all women what to do with their bodies.... Jesus was not a rebel punk he loved God his father and he loved man. The religious structure is so warped the average Joe Christians are stumbling blindly thru a maze to find any true spirituality. This is why eastern philosophy is growing by leaps and bounds. It is an attractive and effective way to grow SPIRITUALLY and NOT RELIGIOUSLY.

No one is perfect, not even Christians. You judge all by the acts of few. Is your opinion suppose to establish truth? We develop religion by taking parts of the Bible out of context without considering the whole picture. One must do extensive study to establish truth or we just end up with another religion.

Your right we should act more like Him.So when we do , why do you tell us were cramming religion down your throat and were not supposed to judge???????? This is the epitome of why we have so much disagreement.Unbelievers can't stand the truth nor do they want to hear it , or see it in others.Yet they come here with their double standards for pity and comfort, but be warned. One day you all will cry for the rocks to fall on you to hide you from my Lord's presence.

I think you better read more into the life of Jesus and who believes in him. Christians are not the only once who believe in his acts as a spiritual source of good. In islam he is also known and praised. My point is- is that there is more out there you need to learn about and the fact that it sounds that you are rabbling without really knowing a subject. Get the whole story and then come back with some positive things to progress humanity instead of this negative rant!!!!

Vibrance; an unusually good, and very deep question..
Jesus-of-Bethlehem.. (NOT, 'of Nazareth': a later-built, ROMAN Tourist Town..)!
-was indeed Jewish Royalty.

Jesus ('Issa'): His Police-Record exists -to this very day,
in the Vatican's Archives.. It states [that He was] : "Nearly 'black'' in complexion.."
(certainly NOT like the 'hippy-like' character portrayed in the windows of 13th century French Cathedrals.!)
Myself, I surmise he looked rather like a tall, VERY-firery (young) 'Bob Dylan'..
(Well, he WAS a Semite, of-dark-olive-complexion)..

He really "ranted AND RAVED"; the Sermon-ON-The-Mount raged -drawing massive crowds- for aproximately FOUR-&-a-HALF HOURS !! (-and we know, not a single word OF it..)

Men / FISHERmen, around Him were normally, well-armed:
they simply HAD to be! They often wore swords, and/or carried, "iscariots": small, hooked daggers -primarily used for 'slitting throats'!
(Oh; They [naturally had] plenty of serious enemies)..
I REALLY doubt that Jesus understood [that he was] creating a new Religion.. either.

It was Saul: St. Paul who must BE credited with creating, modern "CHRISTIANITY". Now, many Bible-Scholars will insist that TheTeacher, Jesus, and St. Paul never MET -But THEY DID
-in Damascus: "face-to-face!" (They talked; AND talked..). .. ...

"Chistianity", [could accurately] BE called, "Paulism".. as without the marvelous, tireless work OF 'dual-citizenship'-St. Paul, Christianity would -most likely- be only an obscure Jewish-offshoot sect:
only of scant interest to scholars-of-the intracascies of the Jewish, Religion!
