not harmful if not had in excess.....we over do the coffee bit and it makes us hypertensive!...so better to stick to 1 or 2 cups a day!

Coffee is NOT BAD. Seriously, if we listened to 'those people' we'd be not allowed to do anything - 'they' also say that cellphones cause male infertility, sun is bad for skin so stay inside but if you don't go outside you get obese, blah blah. Just make sure you brush your teeth because the ONLY thing coffee is proven to cause is coffee-stained teeth.

There are many benefits to coffee. There are also some potential bad effects of coffee. As with anything, moderation is key.

coffee in the morning is good, i drink a whole pot every day, for about 20 years so i know it can't be too bad for me, anyway. coffee at night can be problematic though.

No, too much may cause some nervousness. Otherwise it is not harmful, if a drip pot is used.
