Turkey is, though the people there are mostly Muslim, a long-standing and stable secular government and society. They have no interest in extremists screwing things up.
Just like the US is, though most of the people are Christians, a long-standing and stable secular government and society.
I just felt I needed to say that, because my initial statement makes it sound like being a Muslim and having a secular government and stable society are somehow exclusive, and I don't feel that way, at all.

Turkey is a major recipient of US military aid. As for Iran having a nuclear weapon, well, that is the only thing which will stop the US repeating what it is doing in Iraq to them. They have a right to a defence. I`m not to comfortable with Iran`s threats to Israel though. It will be interesting to see how events unfold.

but their relation goes deeper and they share borders
am sure once iran has nuclear stuff they gonna boost more relationships with people they have economic ties too
