Hi, I'm current almost 20 years of age and I still can't seem to grow my sideburns. I'm half scottish and half japanese so that may have some reason in affecting my facial hair growth because all my mates don't seem to have problems with it. Expecially the sideburns who even the wee kids could grow. Can someone please give me some tips on growing them because this is really annoying and I hope its not genetics, cause you can't really fix those problems.

Well I can tell you from stories from my grandpa if you can't grow them you don't have it . When he was young everyone was growing side burns due to the Elvis Ara and everyone wanting to look like him . Well my grandpa could never grow them and never has . Now having Asian in you I would say is a big part . Asians aren't very hairy . I know this due to I am half Asian also . Sorry dude i think your just out of luck . But I am sure you can find another great style that will look totally hot on you !!!

its all genetics. when i went to east asia i noticed that practically nobody had facial hair. Those that did was very thin and if it wasnt black wouldnt have been noticable. My best friend has just random hairs that grow in over his chin and face. i'm sure he shaves them just cause it looks sad.

the best thing to do is stimulate the hair follicles in that area. Ex: shave, massage.
