Are you using leave on conditioner? if you are, I dont think there is an issue. But if you are using normal conditioner, make sure you don't apply it to the scalp. Other than that, there is no reason not to condition it everyday. This is especially true if you have considerably dry hair. If you see that your hair is behaving better as a result of using conditioner everyday, continue use.

Do you have naturally curly hair? If you do, you must use conditioner everyday. I use two to three bottles of conditioner to every one bottle of shampoo. I put in a lot of conditioner to help get out the tangles, I know I have enough in when my hair feels like seaweed.

If you do have naturally curly hair, you have to read the Curly Girl Handbook by Lorraine Massey & Deborah Chiel. In the book, it suggest totally getting rid of shampoo and using conditioner only. You scrub your scalp with the conditioner and the friction is what helps clean your hair. I tried doing it for a while and my hair looked great. It's just that after using shampoo for thirty years, it's kind of become a habit.

I hope this information helps. ~Rachel~

yes, hair models usually shampoo 3 times a week maxium, if you over do conditioner you can also stripe your hairof natural oils or add on, when using a conditioner don't use it daily just using it every other day can help and watch out for sulfer or sulfate in conditioners it will stripe your hair and do more damage in the long run, it also can cause issues if you need to color your hair as well latter on in life.

It depends on your hair type and what conditioner you are using. If you have dry hair and are using something heavy in moisture and light in protein it is fine to use it daily. However, if you have dry or course hair and use some protein conditioners daily it can make your hair brittle. If you have fine hair you want to use something lighter like a detangler on a daily basis and a protein conditioner weekly or less.

If you find a light cream rinse conditioner, found in a beauty supply store, I feel that's OK.
I wash my hair every other day with shampoo then cream rinse.
And the other day just cream rinse. My hair is thick and fine and beautiful. If your hair is healthy and beautiful no problem.
Done this routine for years.

NO there's not, but be careful, some conditioners just dry out your hair. to tell apart the ones that do and don't, check the ingredients, if alcohol (rubbing acohol) is one of the first ingredients, then it is most likely to dry out your hair! good luck and good bye!

You should try a new brand just coming out called Organix. Its got organic active ingredients, and its sulfate free - so it won't dry out your hair. The fragrances are absolutely amazing! You'll be able to buy it over the next few weeks at Kroger, Target, Albertsons, Safeway, Duane Reade, etc. You'll love it!

Don't think there is. Conditioner is good for your hair, it makes it really soft.
