yeah i had to. it was not that bad. it was worse then changing mine because i was not used to doing that with some one esles child. the child was fine with it. acted like it was an everyday thing. he was three then so he was supposed to be toilet trained and he ended up pooing his pants. the mother was horrified when i told her. guess i would be too.

I save an outfit and panties in her backpack in case that ever did ensue. I baby sit two little boys and I have two boys of the same age. I didn't mind changing the wet pants, because I had them take off the wet pants themselves. Now the messed ones were worse. I was lucky and the mom didn't mind about the underwear. I just threw them away. I just found it too gross to clean up. The boys never really minded me cleaning them up. Only when they were lazy and didn't go to the bathroom when they were told were they really upset. Otherwise it is just part of having kids and watching kids. It isn't like I can say "No I wont' potty train your child when he or she is here. "

If you take on the responsibility of caring for the child, then you take on the responsibilty of keeping the child clean. I can't imagine that any parent who accepted you as a caretaker for their child, paid or not, would have any objection to your changing clothing for a child after an accident. That's just part of the job.

I have. I don't *mind* exactly, it's just something that needs to be done. The kids never seem to care, they just care they're getting out of the uncomfortable clothes. But I've never had to do it with a child I wasn't really familiar with, so that may make a difference.
One thing I have noticed, is that other people's kids seem to smell more strongly to me. Maybe it's just because I'm not used to them like I am my own kids.

I have been in this situation plenty with babysitting and having young friends of my kids over. It's really no big deal to me at all, and no parents have ever really had an issue with it. Kids need to be taken care of, accidents happen, and any adult should not mind helping them.

yes I have....no I didnt mind cause I wouldnt want a child to stay wet all day, I imagine that it would be no worse than cleaning my own, the child felt good cause they werent wet anymore, they already knew cause they said they werent going to do it.

Yes, i've had to clean up my sister-in-laws baby after her diaper leaked, her mother was there too, but she is too much of a fat lazy slob to get up, the mother reacted with relief because she didn't have to bother

i had to clean my nephew if that counts when he was at my house. I had pants that fit him but no underware so he had none on. My sister-in-law didn't seem to care very much and neither did I. My nephew was embarrased though. He was 4 at the time.
