Stay out of Texas. Most Misdemeanor warrants do not go out of State.

You really should consider getting your warrant cleared up. If you do not, later on when things are going well for you in your life, you could be in a situation to be forced to do your time. If you get pulled over for anything, headlight out or something, you will be busted right there.
Once you get your situation straightened out, you can then move forward and work on getting your life to where you want it to be.

I doubt it but some states like Indiana will revoke your driver's license if you have unpaid tickets/etc. from another state. Some states are beginning to cooperate in that manner. Dunno about Texas. Why don't you just face the music and pay your dues? It's only a misdemeanor.
