Do what you feel is right and your fiance will understand. If he doesn't, it wasn't meant to be.

I would highly recommend that you finish school first and get that out of the way. Its not easy going to school while you still have to work to support your family. Communication is key right now, you need to sit down with your families and tell them how you feel, after all then one getting married is you and not them. 22 may seem young to be married, but it really depends on your situation. I'll still be 21 when I get married this summer, but of course by that time I would have finished school. Please please finish school if you want to start your marriage right from the start other wise it can be a burden to you and your husband. Talk with your families they need to understand you.

if what you really want is to finish school first, then you should wait to get married. your boyfriend should support your decision, because this is obviously important to you. but that doesn't mean that your boyfriend can't start the process of settling down while you're still in school. he can go through the process of trying to become a us citizen while he's waiting for you to finish, then once you're out of school you can get married.

do what my friend did. She got married through court to get her status legal but she doesnt live with her husband she lives with her parents and she is still going to school. Now dont get me wrong she loves her husband but when she is done with school they are going to get married through church and buy a house. I think you should do the same thing. It works.

Were you planning to marry?

I think you should wait. You shouldn't feel pressure to marry immediately if you aren't ready.

Try every possible way to get him to try to extend his visa.

Keep your focus---GO TO SCHOOL JUST LIKE YOU WANT TO. Remember to keep the eyes on the prize. If you are together later, he will respect you even more for it.
