Everyone seems to think that the end of the World is coming. They all seem to have neg. thoughts and intentions. The Four Horsemen and the Apocalypse and all that fun stuff, but the signs that they are looking for have been repeated over the years, since the beginning of time. Whatever "signs" people see, such as War and pestilence have reoccured over many years, hell this country is built on War, but that is overlooked when people say that the world is going to end this time.

Why don't we live like the world isn't going to end, and stop being so dour and pitiful and do something about the ecological system and war. It isn't written in stone people.

Will you try and make a difference? Be positive and believe that we can make the world a better place and stop damning it.

Jesus didn't only talk about his second coming; he fought for justice, defended the weak, and healed the sick.

He stood up against the most powerful people of his day, people who were terrorizing his fellow Jews.

To be Christian means to be like Jesus, to do all that we can to make the world a better place. And it also involves being grateful, despite it all, for all that God has given us.

Will Jesus return soon (literally?)? Who knows. What perhaps is most important is, "Do Jesus' teachings affect your heart, and inspire you to improve yourself and the world?"

If so, then we too will compassionately serve our fellow man/woman while defending the oppressed.

Peace be with you.

No I won't - I'll be dead before social secirity and medicare go broke. If the world is not destroyed before that happens there is going to be an uprising in the developed countries against the rich.

Really? The signs have been repeated?

For example, how many times have the Jewish people been regathered to their land as ONE nation, instead of two? (Hint: only once, in 5/1948.) This is listed as one of the signs we are in the end times.

Here's a list of seven significant events that show we're in the end times. None of these have ever been fulfilled (or been as near to fulfillment) as they are now: http://raptureready.com/featured/kelley/newyear.html

You may want to re-assess your understanding of this issue. As Jesus said, the truth will set you free.

Peace.

No most people don't.
Only those suffering from schizoid delusional mental disorders might think that and the good news is that they can get treatment. (Zyprexa, use only as directed, see a doctor)
