That is probably a better choice at your age than a tattoo. As long as you have your parents permission, I'm sure you'll be able to get the piercing. You will need to take care of it but the happy news is that if you don't like it, you can always remove it and that would be that.

At your age, a navel piercing is a MUCH better idea. but dont rule out the tattoo quite yet. This is the time to think of what you might want to get tattooed on you. Tattoos are something you think long and hard about. As far as the navel piercing...make sure you get your parent's permission because you are a minor. No clean and reputable piercer will pierce a minor without parent or legal guardian. Here's a suggestion, be different than your peers and pierce the bottom of your navel....

ive gotton my belly pierced @ 13 itdoesnt hurt and its so quick,like when u get there they start by explaining it to u,then she shows u the tools and opens them,she preps the skin, then u lay down,she counts to 3 and pushes the needle thru and then puts the starter jewlery thru,and ur good to go! i hope that helps

this is a much better idea than a tattoo at your young age. i got mine done at 13 and i still have mine in at age 23. you will love it, you will still need a parents permission.

I had my navel pierced and it didnt really hurt, but when you have kids and tend to gain weight then its kinda gross, but i say go for it and the tattoo.

That would be better. But dont cheap out. If you dont get real gold it will probably get infected.
