I've been with my boyfriend for almost a year. We have gone through a lot of problems but we never really worked through them. We just ignore them, hoping they go away not to mention my family doesn't really like him. Finally I got tired and exploded on him two days ago. In turn he got upset and said that we don't even have a relationship because my family isn't ever going to accept him and he doesn't want to wait around for them to accept him. He won't even call me, doesn't answer the phone when I call and ignores my texts. He really is a nice guy and I don't think he would leave things unresolved. Do you think he will be back and should I just wait for him to call me?

The way your relationship has been in the past has set a precedent. Because you never worked out your problems in the past, why do you expect him to want to work things out now? You should never push problems aside, hoping that they fix themselves, they will only become a matter of contention between the two of you.
I'm not sure if he will return or not...but you can always give him a few more days and try again. I don't know, things may just not be fixable between the two of you.

I think that you should let him go. Your family should be important to you and their oppinions I dont know why they didnt accept him but if they are like my family they know best and can see things that we in the relationship cant ever tell at the time.

You should wait for him to call you. My family won't accept my bf either. I told my family to get over it, it's not their decision who I'm with.

just because ur family doesnt accept him doesnt mean u 2 cant be together, as long as u accept him he has nuttin to worry about, he's datin U not ur family, call him and tell him this

move on, he's just making excuse to leave if he was really in love with you he will never leave you like that have some self respect and move on

He dosen`t want to deal with your family.He must not like you enough to deal with them.Sorry but some people are like that.
