i've always loved the verse John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son so whoever believes in him may not perish but have an everlasting life" because it speaks SO clearly that if we accept God then we have no need to worry, we will have eternal life :)

so when you say only "Christians Authors", does that mean New Testament quotes only? Because I like the one that says
