Bible: "I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me" (Phil. 4: 13)
Quote: (a tie) St. Francis: "Preach the Gospel at all times... if necessary, use words." - and - C.S. Lewis: "Asking which is more important, faith or works, is like asking which blade in a scissors is more important."

You and that i have a lot in ordinary. those Christian books impacted me the most: a million. the traditional Christian existence (Watchman Nee). If Nee lived interior the first century, the Bible would have the e book of Nee as a change of the e book of Romans. Nee does a more desirable pastime explaining the concepts interior the e book of Romans than Paul does. Nee died in a chinese penitentiary in 1972. 2. convalescing Your Serve (Chuck Swindoll) a pragmatic thanks to provide to others, the quantity to for you to do it, and the better objective of why to do it. 3. The Divine Romance (Gene Edwards) For the great image. It solutions why God made us. 4. The Grand Inquisitor (Fyodor Dostoevsky) basically what became in those 3 questions the devil tempted Jesus with? that's perchance the most profound little e book I actually have ever study. actual, "The Grand Inquisitor" is basically one financial disaster interior the better e book "The Brothers Karamazov".

(Romans 3:3-4) “3 What, then, [is the case]? If some did not express faith, will their lack of faith perhaps make the faithfulness of God without effect? 4 Never may that happen! LET GOD BE FOUND TRUE THOUGH EVERY MAN BE FOUND A LIAR,(my caps) even as it is written: “That you might be proved righteous in your words and might win when you are being judged.””
Why this is so impressive to me and outstanding, is because of the verb "found" which denotes a thourough search, not an emotional siding.

i've always loved the verse John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son so whoever believes in him may not perish but have an everlasting life" because it speaks SO clearly that if we accept God then we have no need to worry, we will have eternal life :)
Oh, one from a Christian Author, i'll have to get back to you on that one lol
God Bless :)

I John 3:1, See how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

so when you say only "Christians Authors", does that mean New Testament quotes only? Because I like the one that says
Deuteronomy 20
16But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:
17But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee:
18That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against the LORD your God.
Harsh (poooor Hittites - what do they get for giving civilization so much? huh? - Who would have discovered bronze working?)

"Be still, and know that I am God."
Psalm 46:10
I don't really have a quote from a Christian author.
