If you burn more calories than you eat you will likely lose weight. However, you should know that ramen noodles are fried during the manufacture, so they are not as healthy as other things. You would be better off in terms of overall nutrition to eat small, low calorie meals. Make a sandwich, eat a small salad with very little low fat dressing. Have an apple. Keep it simple. The less processed food the better.

It may be an urban legend, but I've heard of college students who try to save money by eating nothing but Ramen, and end up dead from malnutrition. You're better off eating veggies, dairy, whole grains and lean meats and staying away from sugar and junk food. Put that with excersise and you'll lose weight and be more healthy.

it does work, but it's a very unhealthy diet. you shouldn't limit yourself to one certain kind of food, you're cutting yourself off from a lot of important nutrition.
