I have to say the atheist. You see Christians are waiting for it to happen. So, every moment it doesn't happen they will just say that they must continue to wait. On the other hand, if it does happen the atheist will be very surprised.

Sorry, no rapture, so a lot of christians are gonna be left in a pain of fog and insecurity and the atheists won't be surprised, because it won't happen. The atheists will of course be surprised at the end of the trib though, but not pleasantly surprised, while the christians will be downright rapturous when He comes for them right before the final wrath.

The atheists when rapture happens. How will the Christian ever know that it never happened if the atheists are right and there is nothing after death? (This is an answer based on logic, not my personal feelings on which group is correct)

The atheist, I will be alive during the rapture. The christian will die thinking the rapture has not happened.

Since most Christians do not believe in the Rapture -- I think Christians and non-Christians alike would be surprised if it happened.

Nope.
The ones who will be most surprised will be those who bought into the rapture fallacy.
1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
1Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Satan posing as Christ will deceive many. They will think Christ is here. Then like a thief, totally unexpected, the true Christ returns.

I'd definately be surprised, especially if it happens just like the Bible predicts it. It'll be the first thing it got right.

I think the Christian that doesn't ascend will be the most surprised though.

Rapture is a made up story from some guy in the early 1900s.. its not a real event. Some protestant cultures have adapted it as part of their relgion but not the mainline Churches.

Christians, Rapture believers, have been crying wolf for the past 5 centuries or so.

It's not going to happen. It never was going to happen, and it never WILL happen. People are incredibly gullible.
