Catholics, Are we in Year A, B or C?

I have a OLD Missal and it goes to year 1980. what year would be the same as this year for using it?

1980 was year C and we are currently in Year C

I do not think you could use it for current years. The Scripture readings may be the same, but the prayers may be different. I do not know.
