when i met my g/f, now my ex, she only told me that her ex cheated on her..until one day i overheard her tell her friend that her ex was physically abusive towards her. could it be she was embarassed to tell me or what?

she was embarrased. i would be. but i would also be embarrased to let him just walk away from it without some sign of abuse too. if he was my bf and he hit me i think i would hit him back. maybe not right away especially if he is a big guy, but i would find a time to take a shot. even if it was a cheap shot. girls hide things from guys cuz they dont want to seem vulnerable. we dont want too feel like we have "victim" written over our forhead. and some guys can see it. but if she would have told u then u would act different towards her and she doesnt want that. she doesnt want u to fell sorry for her. when someone feels sorry for her it ruins her selfconfidence. so just relax and know that her past is supposed to be a secret u dont know about. when she is ready to tell u she will. just be sensitive to her feeling without feeling sorry for her. goodl uck on ur relationship i hope everything works out for u

Probably or maybe she just didn't want you to be worried. After what's past is past. Don't ask her about it and pretend not to know unless she tells you herself. Good luck!

Its something you can tell a person when your ready to admit what had happened to you. It's something in her past and she does want to look back.
