Matthew 24:44 states for us to "Be ye therefore also ready. For in such an hour as ye think NOT, the Son of Man cometh." To me, that means that man cannot date Christ's return simply because he wants to save all he can possibly save. But because of the blood of his martyrs and saints from all generations are crying out for the "day of the vengeance of God" to be completed, and because "evil men and seducers wax worse and worse", God cannot and will not tarry for those who are reprobated or unaccepted through separation from God's leading. The signs of the times are all around us, so the only thing I can say about when He's returning is watch the news and relate it to the things that were prophesied by John a little over 1,900 years ago and recorded in Revelation.

Dear kristin, In the BIble it tells us that we wil know not the day nor the hour of the Lords return, it is a mystery God has not chosen to reveal to us. Jesus said his Coming would be like a thief in the night and that Just as lightinf flashes from the east to the west, so will be his coming. The Most important thing for us is to be sure were ready.

No one knows the day or the hour, but only the "season". Israel becoming a nation in 1948 is fulfilled prophecy that indicates we are entering into the last days. When you see wars and rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, strange weather and earthquakes in diverse places, the bible says to "look up" for your redemption draws near. Also these things are just the beginning of what are called "birth pangs". Like a woman in labor, these signs will increase over time and not decrease. They will increase in intensity and amount, growing more and more closer together as the end approaches.

He is not coming back.
He has been held for ransom for the last 2000 years and the preachers have been trying to come up with the money with the collection plate.
I guess 50 trillion or more is not enough.

hopefull soon, i want to get out of here, but the Bible says no one knows the day nor the hour. Big scientifical people though are trying to guess and they say sometime this year or next. i believe it will be in my lifetime, so that means most likely yours too. just keep praying and looking to the sky.

We are told that even Jesus does not know, only the FATHER knows. It is not as important as to when as it is to be ready at that time. HE gave us the instructions as to what to do to be ready. Continue to read, study, and follow HIS WORD, the BIBLE. Have a great day!
