I really love toast , whenever I come back from holiday tea and toast is an absolute must, its not the same in any other country. However I had a wholemeal pitta with ham salad, after all it is January - Christmas pounds to lose.

we didnt have any bread this morning for my toast. ran out of decent cereal too. had to have special k. had some really nice toast about a week ago tho (hedgehog loaf, marge and orange marmalade) but you have to be careful with those fluffy specialst loafs as they burn very easily and need constant toast monitoring. anyone else have any toast disasters?

My favorite sandwich is to make a grilled ham and swiss on raisin toast. Add mayo, lettuce, tomato and red onions. Sounds strange, but it is divine.
