It doesn't cost any money to go see a lawyer, and get some information from them. First find out what sort of fees the lawyer charges - I would think that if you can find a good one then they will tell you whether or not he has a right to challenge the baby's mother in court for free. It will cost him money to actually proceed with it, but if he has a steady job that he has kept for a while, and a place to live then he will most definitely be able to see his child, even if it's only every other weekend - better than nothing.
Obviously the mother is a control freak who is using the child as a weapon against him - the worst part is the kid is the one who suffers the most here.

Just tell him to find a lawyer and let the court rule the issue, what u sh´d do is to be by his side all that time until he get the custody of his daughter.U may be the important strength he needs.

The only thing you can do is support him emotionally. If your BF is doing everything possible then he needs to take legal actions. he has the right. now for you, i suggest you do nothing else. the babymama might be jelous that he has a girl, so if you intervene that may make things worst. dont call her, dont mention her around him either cuz that might make things worst. Keep him strong and if he has the rights then he will see her. there are free atorneys that would love to help him. :)

He needs to call an attorney and go to court to get regular child support and visitation set up. The baby's mom will be in contempt of court order if she refuses to let him see his daughter afterwards.

You sound very thoughtful and kind hearted but there's nothing you can do but comfort him as best you can. It's a legal matter and out of your reach unless you're a lawyer. You can urge him to seek legal council but that's about it. Just be there for him and that will help him more then you realize.
