My daughter is 5 1/2....She wears size 5 girl pants made by Arizona Jean Co, sold at JC Penney. Usually on sale for about $13, They're longer than 5t's...They come in slim and regular...My daughter loves them...Most have elastic waists in the back so they're not too tight. My daughter is not overweight either, but has a slight belly, weighs 48 lbs, about 44" tall. She wears size 5 regular. Ones she likes best have sequins, butterflies, and flower stitching on them, lots of styles to choose from...and girls in her kindgergarten class wear the same kinds, she's quite excited about that.

Both my kids have this problem. They have short legs, so the pants that fit in the waist are too long. You may just have to roll them up or hem them. When shopping, you'll find, too, that most stores carry a size 4/5 in the girls department. It's kind of an overlap with the toddler sizes (just like a size 24months and 2T are the same), but there may be a difference. It's worth checking out. Also, all brands run differently, so try another brand name or store for a better fit.

No, it truly is really about a million-2 inches taller than me, i'm 5'6", and all my jeans are a minimum of that a lot too lengthy. i might want to assert you've not any actual issues till you attain 5'11-6 ft. the perfect jeans for human beings that are extremely tall are Rock & Republics, those suckers have 36-37 inch inseams. complete stick insect jeans.

Buy a 6X and roll them up, she will obviously get taller and grow into them, and the X gives you a little more room in the waist. My daughter has the exact same problem.

Buy the bigger ones and either get them hemmed or roll them up. My son is 2 and is wearing 3T pants and 4T-5T shirts from the children's place. He's tall and solid.

Get the 6's, cuff'em or hem'em. She'll grow into them in no time anyway.
