Depending on why you are not menstruating, a reproductive endocrinologist can artificially induce a menstrual period.

Basically, what happens is that a patient is given a pill containing progesterone for 7-10 days. After that time, the progesterone is withdrawn and a menstrual period should start 1-3 days after the progesterone is withdrawn.

If you are not having regular menstrual periods, you should see a physician to rule out a medical problem. You shouldn't ignore the problem.

Good luck.

Me personally Ive never heard of them. I know that some types of birth control can regulate you a bit more, keeping them more predictable. Also it is not too uncommon for women to have irregular cycles, expecially if you are an athlete or have dropped some body fat recently. If you are concerned go to your doctor or you may look up a doctors advice online. Also a healthy diet and regular exercise can help. If you missed a few of your cycles, if you are sexually active a pregnancy test or a visit to an OBGYN can help determine the problem.

Basically, no. In order for "the pill" to work, what you have done is upset your hormonal balance. Hopefully in spite of that malpractice, given time your body will find a healthy equilibrium. Get on a good diet (fruits and vegetables, no junk) and do some cleansing. that will help your body recover from the abuse you have put it through. If things don't normalize in about 6 months, you might need a professional consultation to help balance things.

You really need to talk to your doctor and rule out a medical problem. Better safe than sorry.

You can do a web search for 'regulating menses' to find some interesting articles and natural (supplements) ways to help keep you regular, but please DO see your doctor.
