You have to be 21 and yes they will card you and escort you out of the casino if you're not. Underage gambling incurs huge fines for the casinos.

21 I'm a casino Surveillance agent and if your in my casino and you look young you will be carded and if you are under 21 you will be escorted out of the building you can not even be in the gaming area gaming control board is very strict about minors in the casino

21 and they do card. I've been to Vegas twice and I've been carded at just about every casino I've been to. In Vegas, they follow the rule "When in doubt, card."
