We are and will be at war with Terrorism for a long time and possibly forever. Accept it. The question really is - Where will the battle front be? As bad as Iraq has turned out to be, at least the Terrorist are fighting us in the streets of Iraq instead of our own streets. Iran has for years been harboring and supporting Terrorists. Iran is close to commanding nuclear power. Not just power for support of their on infrastructure, but nuclear power to create weapons. Iran has already indicated they will eliminate Israel. Isreal and US will not allow that. Before their Nuclear Power facilites can become online, Israel and/or the US will destroy those facilites. Iran may be at odds with other Muslim nations, but Iran possesses some power and control over them. So if needed, Iran could call a holy war against Israel and the West (thats us) which could unite all the Muslims and Terrorist. This will be bad. How do you defend yourself against someone who will die just to kill you!
Don't think for a moment that just because you are against war that these people will leave you alone. They will kill you just the same.
So what is the answer. Wait till Terrorist get nuclear weapons from Iran and blow one of our cities. If we don't do something, this will happen. Or should we eliiminate that threat and maybe cause another. Sooner or later, these Terrorist will move away from airplanes and start blowing our schools and civic organizations. One thing for sure, it will get worse before it gets better.

There is going to be many more wars and not just in the Middle East.
After or maybe even before Iran Nigeria will be attacked.

Probably. The US is spinning up a new "African Command" to fight terrorist activity in Somalia and other nations. Keep your eyes and ears glued to the news. I wonder when the US will stop being the world police. Stopping the genocide in Darfur would be a noble cause though. -Iraq Vet

Well, we just bombed a town in Somalia where SUSPECTED terrorists are hiding. (key word suspected) I thought Americans practiced innocent until proved guilty? I guess at some point we've switched to shoot now, ask questions later.
