Hi everyone, maybe could guide me as to what this may be. I usually feel a that the right side of my head is a bit more tense the the left side. Sometimes I feel pressure on my right eye, and maybe my sight a bit blurry on the right side.

I also have allergic rhinitis, I don't know if this could be linked to the other... but I've been to a couple of doctors which have given
me treatments that don't quite work.

Could this be a migraine?

Be well! thankyou in advance for you commentaries.

Migraines are usually accompanied by nausea, sensitivity to light, or debilitation. Stress headaches are another type of headache that affects the head, the neck, and the shoulders. Both of these are usually hard to treat...

My first guess was a sinus headache, especially because you said that you felt pressure near your eye. After reading that you get hay fever, it could be linked to that. I am not sure if you are on allergy medication, but if your allergies are the cause, you will only really get relief from that and not pain killers.

I used to get migraines, almost always on one side of the head. It feels like you could define a line right along the middle of your head, between the dark side and the light side, as it were.

Unless there is some specific reason why one side is being damaged or injured, the most likely theory would be migraine. Unfortunately, the best remedy for migraine is illegal in the US, with some exceptions.

With a migraine you usually have very, very intense pain, upset stomach, spots in front of your eyes, you can't stand light. But, I have also had a pain on the right side of my head and one time it was the vision changing in my right eye another time it was the right side of my nostril was block by a "deviated septum". I hope you find the reason and I wish I were a doctor. Good Luck.

Well, the number one rule out is get a comprehensive eye exam - one in which the doctor dilates your eyes and determines a cycloplegic refraction. Then, you will be certain its not your eyes or visually related.
