I know this sounds like a technical difference, but being gay and acting out are two different things. First, people cannot help what they are. If you are a lesbian, then thats what you are and you can't help there. There is no sin. However, in acting on your feelings with another female would be considered sinful. Part of your question says if you want to be a lesbian. Many people are curious about having contact, or relations with the same sex. This is not uncommon. They will engage is sex with another woman just to see what its like. They will either like it or they won't, but at least their curiosity is satisfied.
Sometimes women will be married and have children fully realizing that they are lesbians. They eventually have a relationship with another woman, or they will leave their husbands and seek comfort in the arms of another woman.
Is it a sin to have sexual relations with someone of the same sex? Yes. Is it unforgiveable? No.

Sure the Bible says homosexuality is wrong. It also says that eating pork is wrong, getting a divorce or a tattoo is wrong, and that men shouldn't shave.

Come on, the Bible is bunk. If you want to be a lesbian, be one. Don't fret about some ancient Jewish holy book. Brightest blessings.

I'd say the bible has something to say about those issues but in the end only you have to face what's ahead in the hereafter. Many can say it's a sin and for me it would be,but that's not to say that people who indulge in that lifestyle will get worse treatment after death than others who have sinned in other ways,we all have some things that only we know and God and sooner or later we all have to face up to our deeds, good and bad so do what you think is best for you for you only have to answer for your deeds asI have to answer for mine.

Like he said it's an abomination unto God. In the bible it's one of the reasons Sodom and Gomorrah was destryoed. It's pretty clear through out the bible God intended relations to be within a man and a woman.

Romans 1:18 to the end of the chapter speaks of a relationship with God that is diminishing, until it is gone. Included in this downward spiral are the relationships that men have with men, and women have with women.

Homosexuality is one of the symptomatic manifestations of human rebellion towards God.

Anywhere you read about it in the bible it says it is a sin and an abomination to God. Homosexuals will not be in Heaven. No matter what you want to call it, it is a sin and will bar you from Heaven if you care to get there.

About homosexuality, the well-known Biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah reveals God’s feelings about it. God declared: “The cry of complaint about Sodom and Gomorrah, yes, it is loud, and their sin, yes, it is very heavy.” (Genesis 18:20) The extent of their sinful depravity at that time was apparent when two guests visited the righteous man Lot. “The men of Sodom . . . surrounded the house, from boy to old man, all the people in one mob. And they kept calling out to Lot and saying to him: ‘Where are the men who came in to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have intercourse with them.’” (Genesis 19:4, 5) The Bible says: “The men of Sodom were bad and were gross sinners against Jehovah.”—Genesis 13:13.

The men became “violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males.” (Romans 1:27) They had “gone out after flesh for unnatural use.” (Jude 7) In countries where homosexual rights campaigns are pervasive, some may object to using the word “unnatural” to describe homosexual behavior. However, is not God the final arbiter when it comes to nature? He commanded his ancient people: “You must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing.”— Leviticus 18:22.

The Bible is clear: God does not approve of or condone homosexual practices. He also disapproves of people who “consent with those practicing them.” (Romans 1:32)

Still, with God’s help, anyone can learn to “abstain from fornication,” which includes homosexual acts, and “get possession of his own vessel in sanctification and honor.”(1 Thessalonians 4:3, 4) Admittedly, this is not always easy. But one can change with help from “the spirit of our God.”(1 Corinthians 6:11)

Regarding lesbianism, the bible at Romans 1 vs 26, 27 states: "26 That is why God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; 27 and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error."

I advise you not to go into lesbianism except you do not wish to please your creator and live-giver, Jehovah God.

I suggest that you contact Jehovah's Witnesses in your area for assistance in remaining morally chaste.

I think it says, "thou shalt drive away any chance of saving your gay brothers and sisters by beating them about the head all the time with your self-righteous big**ry."

It ALSO SAYS, "ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD!"

This means everyone!

Yep - If you beleive what the Bible says. You may be born that way - it is only a sin if you act on it and participate in a lifestyle that is an abomination. You just have to choose what you believe.
