Respect his wishes and be patient. If you try to rush, he will feel like you're trapping him. Don't worry. Good things come to those who wait.

Finding the right person can be different than you think. It may be that best friend that you never thought of til now, or that guy at work that you just can not get along with. He is right when he says time will tell. It will, patience isn't easy when you want something now, but isn't it better to wait and see rather than ruining what seems to be a great friendship. You have to ask yourself if you weren't the one he picked, could you still be friends with him? Truly think about that answer and then you know if this is a friendship worth being in for the long haul(through love or not) or one of those friendships that fade in time due to jealousy. As hard as it is, be patient. guys aren't as complicated as they seem, but we are. Don't read to much into anything, have fun!!!! Don't obsess over this, that itself will ruin your fun and your relationship!

Oh.
Love is fanatical, especially after you just get out of a deep relationship. There is a big loss, a bleeding, you strive to plug that hole. Naturally you want to get love to make up for what you lost.
But seeming that you already talked to him about it and he said have patientce, then you aparently want something serious. You just do not want it to be a rebound thing, cause those fail.
"how do i MAKE him see I can be the one"
that isn't something you should half to make anyone see.
Cause pretty soon, it may go further and you ask "how can I Make him love me?"
I guess i did break some big plans.
Sorry.

I think that the two of you, should just be friends, no pressure, just go out from time to time and have fun, and by being around each other, as friends, then you could see, if you both like the same things, and have the same interests. so don't forger to tell him we are just friends. Have a Happy New Year!

well, he is right. As you say, you both just got off relationship and that could be a reason why he doesnt want to plunge into another one, at least for awhile. If you are willing to wait, then you should especially if you two feel that you are meant for each other.

Because he will feel like he is on the rebound and that type of relationship never lasts. Relax for awhile and just bide your time. If you guys are good friends it will wait 6month-a year.

i think slow down, take every day as it comes just enjoy ur time together soon enough he'll be getting under ur feet and leaving stuff all over the place, enjoy each other, chances are itll go sour soon enough, dont want to dampen ur spirits but its good to be realistic, u could be lucky tho.

Don't push him...just relax and enjoy your time together. Things will work out in time. Don't rush it.
