I am applying for a scholarship by a food industry and they want to know "My current career plans/goals and describe how those plans relate to the food industry" I am majoring in electrical engineering and donno how can i relate it to a food industry?

The design of Supermarkets and Warehouses involve electrical engineers for their design (electrical distribution). Some chains even have their own engineering departments to do the designs in-house. I had a job interview for one about 15 years ago, but I didn't get the job.

Controls, in the food industry, electrical engineers work on controls and power. The mixers, conveyors, and all food processing equiment use power, electrical, steam and water. So the electrical engineer with work to control each of these. There are many EE in the food industry. I am an EE.

i really don't think you can relate EE to the food industry.
