No, why would you think that? When the majority of Americans hear the word "Muslim", images of men with dark beards burning the American flag and shooting at people come into mind. The majority of Americans are ignorant. There are bad and good Muslim people, I know a few, just like there are bad and good Christians. Everyone has the right to choose their own religion.

Not too long ago, Barbra Walters had an interview with a scholarly Muslim. He said that the Koran does not teach Muslims to kill.

Not at all.

The biggest threat to the existence of humans? Humans who hate or fear other humans based on religion, skin color, where they live, cultural differences...
Those are the people who start wars, commit genocide, and propogate hatred for their own selfish reasons. Some of *those* people are muslim -- they're also christian, jew, atheist. They are the biggest threat to the existence of humans.

It was Hitler who killed millions of Jews, not Muslims, and it was Bush who killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, mostly innocent civilians - women, children, the elderly; so, how on God's earth are Muslims the biggest threat to humanity?

You should show some gratitude to us. You're capable of achieving modernity as a result of Renaissance and there would be no Renaissance without the Islamic civilisations. I quote:

"The Renaissance had its beginning in the House of Wisdom (Baitul Hikmah of the Abbasids)"

Wake up people! You watch too much Fox News!

Dont judge us if all you know about us is Osama bin Laden, whose by the actions are condemned by majority of Muslim scholars and clerics of the highest emminence and common Muslims as utterly unislamic and gravely sinful.

The Holy Quran 106:6
"To you your religion and to me mine (Islamic monotheism)"

Islam means peace
--------------------------

Islam is derived from the word ‘salaam’ which means peace. It is a religion of peace whose fundamentals teach its followers to maintain and promote peace throughout the world.

Thus every Muslim should be a fundamentalist i.e. he should follow the fundamentals of the Religion of Peace: Islam. He should be a terrorist only towards the antisocial elements in order to promote peace and justice in the society.
