ok so my ex and i were together almost 7 years he broke up with me saying he wasnt ready to grow up then he immediately got in another realtionship its been 6months and i still really love him but i just found out hes going to get married to this girl i feel like my life has just shattered i guess i just needed someone to talk to

I'm sorry to hear about what happened. I wish i could sit with you and let you spill everything out cuz i know that makes it feel better:( I can't begin to imagine being with someone that LONG and then going 2 seperate ways, i'd feel like dying i know! oh all i can say is let time heal things and hang out a lot with some gf's. they are always there for you and you need to talk. good luck

I don't want to sound mean or hurtful but these are somethings that could of happened.
Perhaps he was cheating on you before your relationship ended, or maybe the relationship was over for him before it was over for you or he could just be in a rebound relationship that will only end up in tears and divorce? It is a big call jumping straight into another relationship after 7 years and 6 months in getting married. They are probably just in the honeymoon stage of their relationship. I'm sorry that i have no other advice for you, I really do hope that you find happiness again.

Jumping from one relationship to another like that is an indication of immaturity, and makes one wonder if the relationship is out of love, or (most probably) out of fear of being alone.
Your ex has moved on, and you should do the same. Don't bother with him anymore. Chances are that in a couple of years you'll hear that he's getting divorced.
Find yourself a man that values you, your kid ex will be just a memory.

Well, maybe you were just not ment for each other. Sometimes people stay together thinking it is right but things just don't go as planned.
So then a break up happens and either one or both get married to someone else. It is going to hurt for a while, but you will in time be able to feel and date again. Don't be angry with him, like you he is just trying to find his place and maybe his place was not with you. Your feelings are normal though and should not be disregaurded, so just take your time and you will find that special someone.

Sounds like this guy was looking for a reason to leave you for this other girl. That should be reason enough to get over him! I say go out and start having fun and meeting new people. Being in a relationship for 7 years is a long time and you should take this time for some "me" time! Have fun and enjoy being single!

yes it is hard it takes time but you will get over him just remeber he broke up with you try to look forward and take it day by day good luck...
