I don't want to really try to predict what's going to happen, but whether we had invaded Iraq or not, it was inevitable that we would be at war in this part of the world. The radical Islamic ideology makes avoiding it unlikely.

Ahmadinejad clearly wants to provoke war, and whether it is Israel or the United States that originally gives it to him, the US will end up involved.

I sure hope we do. The sad truth is that Iran will most likely use their subversive groups like Hamas to cause havoc so that they can avoid that action. There was an incident a few weeks ago where Iranian troops were actually engaging our troops and Iraqi civilians but the media was too afraid to cover that they were more concerned with a road being named after speaker Polosi than the real news.

have you ever heard of the Yom Kippur war in 1973, Israel vs a coalition of Arab international locations....Egypt, Syria and Jordan. That replaced into worse than the present concern.....it did not advance a blip on the international war concern (not that it did not have the potention as a spark)...in simple terms relegated to the heap of close by conflicts between rump states. while the strategic super powers sq. off into 2 camps, then come again and we will communicate international war. until then, in simple terms think of close by conflicts, proxy wars, and brinksmanship.... After the subsequent international war, we would be back into the stone age and you will not would desire to complication whether a international war occurred or not. There are at the instant 40 (+ or -) conflicts interior the international authentic now, yet none are between the super powers in open declarations of war.

For what, they're gonna have their nuclear powerplants anyway.
The best way to push off the Iranian regime of doing something stupid is to make sure the oilprice drops. Democracy and detente is usually linked to the oilprice, the higher it is the lower democracy standards become in most oil producing countries.
C'est aussi simple comme bonjour.
