Oh, you may say "it's just a book. It's not true." But it's a book that has many facts in it that have been proven! London is a real place. Big Ben is a clock there - JUST as "Peter Pan" states. So what if you're wrong and every time you stop believing in fairies, a fairy falls down dead?

Besides, my second boyfriend was TOTAL tinkerbell... I mean, he could give Tim Curry a run for the money as Dr. Frankenfurter... the scary thing is... he did. In a church. In fishnet and a thong. ... we weren't allowed to do any RHPS songs but the Time Warp after that lock-in. Wonder why... *hrm*

I enjoy your question and understand that those "obnoxious Christians" make the Christan community as an entire look undesirable. surely, those "obnoxious Christians" actual be bothered by the delight of "self-righteousness. a real CHRISTIAN might like the soul as a human and make the attempt to show out to that distinctive soul why their habit or way(s) opposes the word of God. that's a actuality that it is impossible to get each and all the international's inhabitants (say 6 billion) to agree on a similar factor for any subject. the massive variety in ideals, journey, guidance, upbringing, way of existence and an excellent sort of alternative factors impasse this remember into the chaos it relatively is a important area of our on a daily basis lives. touching directly to your fact "additionally, some 0.33 of the international's inhabitants is Christian. verify out any good source. this suggests, shockingly, the different 4 billion persons are no longer"... I do discover this to line up in contract with the bible (a competent source) scripture present in MATTHEW 7:thirteen-14 thirteen enter ye in on the strait gate: for huge is the gate, and wide is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and an excellent sort of THERE BE WHICH bypass in thereat: [Hell] 14 because of the fact strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto existence, and FEW THERE BE THAT discover IT. [Heaven] it is hardly a coincidence... and have faith that the real question is "WHAT while you're incorrect?"

Ha, I love it.

I'll always bless the guy that pointed out that Tom Clancy stories have a lot of fact to them as well, but the basic plot is 100% make-believe. I don't understand why Christians can't make this distinction. If I had a dollar for everytime someone pointed out that Jericho or somewhere equally useless "actually existed" as if that proves that the walls fell down just from yelling at them for three days straight.

Sigh.

(J.P., I'm dying of laughter from picturing that!)

It wouldn't be the first time I was wrong and I am sure it won't be the last time I am wrong. I have to base my faith upon what I know and what I observe in the world around me. I don't believe any one religion is correct but that they all are. Your faith has to be true for you. There is no one faith for EVERYONE but there is A faith for each individual, even if that is to not believe.

And I do believe in the fey!

Um - I never believed in fairies in the first place, so I guess that means there've never been fairies!

That proves it! Meet you all in church next Sunday! We will beg forgiveness for rejecting the truth for so long!

Just because you say it's wrong doesn't make it so. Maybe your perception is clouded for what ever reason.

Dude, if you're gonna play "Angel's Advocate", you'd better come a little stronger that "What if you're wrong?".
