What is the attraction? A man in a comitted, happy relationship. Honestly, no major issues..We have good communication, we are good friends as well as partners. We have a very active and varied sex life....I don't get the fascination with porn. I'm not talking like he has an obsession..just occasionally . Why do I feel so insecure? Why do I feel that I am not good enough? Can someone philisophically explain that need that men have and how do I allow him to explore what he needs without feeling somewhat diminished?

Don't stress it...Why not watch it with him?...its just a thing I guess. Men by nature want to mate with more then one female...all animals do it. So its his way of controlling himself. He is never going to meet these people so it's just his way of venting some frustrations..Don't take this the wrong way but it doesn't matter how hot or cool your girlfriend is..most guys will eventually get bored at one point or another. They just need a change of pace....would you rather him sleep with other girls?

I think that what it is with men and porn is mostly just fantasy. It has nothing to do with the relationship if you say the relationship is good. Porn will go places that most "normal" couples would not go, and it is something that turns us on.. Have you ever had a fantasy that you would never do in real life. Something that turns you on, but you know you would never really do. It is kind of the same thing. Does not mean your man does not love you, or he thinks that the girls on the tv are better than you.
If it is occasional then there should be no problem. If it is all the time, then it might of gotten out of hand and become an addiction.
Maybe watch with him, and share secret fantasies that you have with him if it bothers you that much.

Girl, I feel the same way as you do and unfortunately I cannot answer this question but hopefully some guys will come along and explain this.
I think if my BF wanted to look at it together, I wouldn't have a big problem with it. Although (and luckily!), I don't think my BF looks at too much porn anyway. No complaints...but knowing he might do it, and in secret, does bug me.

So long as your relationship is good and your sex life is mutually satisfying, and so long as there is no obsession with the porn and that it isn't devient (kiddie porn, beastiality, hardcore S&M, etc...) porn, there's no problem with his looking.
Men are visual creatures. They like to oogle goodies.
Look at it this way. He's reading the menu. So long as he only orders from home -- be a bit more relaxed on the issue.

It's kind of like watching Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous (do they even show that anymore?). I am quite content with my living situation. But, sometimes I want to see how other people live. I'm not going to buy a yacht because I saw someone else with one. But, either way, it is intriguing. Same with porn. People find it intriguing to see the kinky things that other people do in bed... or in the kitchen... or tied to a ... never mind.

Men are Physical, women are emotional....the proof is in your question. honestly I would rather my boyfriend get his frustrations out with porn then cheat on me. We have a great sex life but sometimes I can't have sex with him as much as he wants.

Talk to him about it. Men are mostly visually stimulated when it comes to sex. You shouldn't feel threatened. You could try watching it with him, giving him a bj while he watches, he would probably love that.
